Hoyleton Ministries, which traces its roots back to the establishment of Hoyleton Evangelical Orphan’s Home in 1895, recently relocated its offices to Fairview Heights. The move is the result of the organization’s strategic plan for growth and to better serve clients into the future. The new headquarters combines the administrative team with the child and family services programs, formerly located in Hoyleton and East St. Louis respectively.
Louer Facility Planning in Collinsville was selected early in the project to analyze potential office buildings and determine which space would best suit the needs of the organization. Jane Louer, the firm’s president and CEO, indicated the Ministries wanted to move its headquarters from Hoyleton to a location that was more accessible and would aid in its growing operations. The Louer design team visited locations under consideration, gained an understanding of the group culture and functional needs of the workspace. With this information, Louer designers were able to create plans showing how the offices would fit into each building, allowing Hoyleton’s leadership to make an informed decision about where to move.
“Louer’s early involvement was crucial in guiding our decision making at this pivotal point in the future of the Hoyleton mission,” stated President and CEO Chris Cox. “Now that we are in our new location, we can see that their design and planning was right on target to meet our needs. We couldn’t be more pleased with the new environment the Louer team created.”
The design team at Louer, headed by Design Director Yvette Paris and Interior Designer Dani Sheley, was inspired by Hoyleton’s mission to serve children and families. The new facility, which is home to 60 employees, is cheerful and well organized. The space reflects the vibrancy of a growing organization at the same time celebrating its rich history.
