The Granite City High School Performing Arts Center will honor three people for their contributions during an evening of musical and stage performances, tributes and testimonials.

Margaret Holland Pennell, Donald W. Stratton and Wyatt K. Roberds will be inducted into the Fine and Performing Arts Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 1. Events begin at 7 p.m., with a reception immediately following at Granite City High School Performing Arts Center, 3101 Madison Ave.

Pennell is the principal of Holy Family School in Granite City. She has enjoyed a career that spans more than 50 years on the stage and more than 200 musical productions.

Stratton is the principal at Grigsby Middle School in Granite City. A musician, singer and actor, he used his artistic talents throughout his career to help inspire thousands of students, congregation members and colleagues.

Roberds is the director of bands for the Granite City School District. He has mentored thousands of students.

The individuals are being honored for their lifetime contributions to the preservation of culture through the fine and performing arts.

General seating is $10; Children 10 years and under are $5.
