IBJ Mar15 Page 15 Image 0003    Innovative Business Brokerage Group, Inc., co-founded by Dave Kunkel and Terry Lammers, meets the needs of business people who are looking to either sell their business or purchase an existing business. In addition to brokering, services include business valuation, marketing, consulting and bank/private investor financing. According to Miller, both companies’ services complement each other well.
Miller’s strengths include developing relationships with corporations, medical groups, business owners, farmers and individuals looking to sell and/or purchase property. She also works closely with landlords and tenants.
Recently she represented the landlord and tenant when Stonewheel, Inc., a distributor of auto parts currently based in Collinsville, signed a multi-year lease to occupy a new space in Fairview Heights. She also facilitated the sale of land for a new O’Reilly Auto Parts store in Troy.
Miller’s sales listings include three acres at I-55/70 and Route 162 across from the Cracker Barrel and Holiday Inn in Troy; 13 acres off I-64 across from the new Love’s truck stop in New Baden; an 80-acre residential development in Waterloo; a 20,000-square-foot bank building with 121 parking spaces on E. Washington in Belleville (one block east of the county seat); and Rend Lake Marina in Benton.
Lease listings include build-to-suits in Collinsville on Eastport Plaza Drive, a 4,800-square-foot building on Highway 50 in O’Fallon, and a 12,000-square-foot office/retail building in Mascoutah near Scott AFB.
“This region is fortunate to have Scott Air Force Base, which employs over 14,000 people,” says Miller. “We are also privileged to have excellent medical facilities, public and private schools, universities, community colleges, and the many businesses, employers and entrepreneurs who have and continue to invest in this region.”
Miller began her career in commercial real estate after working in business development for a geotechnical engineering firm and land developer. Her background in business provided the necessary skill set for her to make a successful transition into commercial real estate. She joined the Kunkel Commercial Group team in November 2007. A new venture for her is joining the board of directors for the Special Needs Foundation for Community Link, Inc.
